Warm Welcome

Hi, I’m Ann - a certified grief educator, author of PerPETual Love - Forever In Your Heart, lifelong animal trainer, and animal therapy advocate.

If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance you’ve loved - and maybe lost - a beloved pet. Or perhaps you're someone who understands how deep the human–animal bond can be.

Either way, I’m so glad you're here. This space was created with care and to offer support, community, and ways to honour the love we share with our animals. Because that love doesn’t end when they’re no longer by our side.

My Story – The Heart Behind the Work

Animals have always been at the centre of my life - not just as companions, but as teachers, healers, and friends. From my very first cat, Nikki, to the many animals I’ve been lucky to call family, I’ve always felt a deep connection with them.

What began with puppy and dog training naturally evolved into something more. Over the years, I found myself helping people and their animals through joyful moments and difficult ones - teaching dog safety to children, training animals for TV and film, and supporting the human–animal bond in every way I could.

Through our mobile farm, I had the privilege of working with a wide range of people and communities - bringing joy to children at parties, schools, and events, while also offering meaningful animal therapy experiences for children and adults with disabilities, aged care residents, mental health patients, and children affected by trauma.

But everything changed the day I lost Matilda. She wasn’t just my Labrador — she was my heart dog. My faithful companion, my best friend, my soulmate. Her loss broke me open in a way I never expected. And in the middle of that heartbreak, something quietly shifted. I knew I had to do more to support others who felt this same kind of pain - the pain so many feel, yet often carry alone.

That journey led me to become a certified grief educator, write PerPETual Love - Forever In Your Heart, and create this gentle, supportive space. My hope is to offer comfort, understanding, and a reminder that your love was real, your grief is valid, and you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Why I Do This Work

At the heart of everything I do is a deep respect for the love we share with animals — and the grief that follows when they’re no longer by our side.

I believe pet loss deserves the same compassion and understanding we offer for any other kind of grief. Too often, people feel they have to keep their heartbreak hidden. I want to help change that.

My work is grounded in three guiding values:

💖 Compassion without judgment – There’s no “right” way to grieve. Every journey is different, and every story matters.

💖 Honouring the bond – The love we share with animals is real, powerful, and enduring — and it deserves to be acknowledged, even after loss.

💖 Gentle, meaningful support – I offer resources, memorial opportunities, and one-on-one supportive calls for those who want to talk privately — alongside a quiet free online community where you can read, reflect, or share at your own pace.

Meet My Animals

More Details Coming Soon...

Animals have been part of my life since childhood - each one leaving their mark in a way that shaped who I am today. From dogs and cats to goats, a pig, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, a parrot, mice, lizards, and a turtle, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with an incredible mix of species. Some are still with me. Others live forever in my heart. But every one of them brought something special — and taught me more than I could ever teach them.

They’ve left behind paw prints, hoof prints, feathers, and tiny footprints… along with countless memories, quiet lessons, and a love that never fades.

Among them, one holds an especially deep place in my heart — Matilda, my heart dog and constant companion. Her tribute is just one example of how I honour the animals who I've been so fortunate to share my life with.

Matilda

My heart dog and constant companion. Matilda was by my side through so many chapters of life — a gentle soul who brought joy to thousands through therapy visits, puppy classes, and even a few film sets. Her memory continues to guide and inspire me every day.
