Every photo here is a little window into the love Matilda and I shared — a love that continues to live on forever in my heart.

She was my constant through life’s highs and lows, a gentle girl who always seemed to be smiling and brought joy to so many. From her whole-body wag to her quiet loyalty, Matilda gave me more than I could ever repay.

Though she’s no longer by my side physically, she will always be with me. These cherished memories bring comfort and as time has gone on, I’ve come to honour and remember my beautiful girl with more smiles than tears.

Matilda’s Story

Matilda was born on 5th November 2009, and from the moment she entered my life, she brought boundless joy, unconditional love, and a whole-body wag that could brighten any room.

Her gentle nature touched every day with warmth. Matilda was my kindred soul, always by my side in so many areas of my life. She played an important role in my work - from the mobile farm and TV and film sets to assisting in puppy classes and making a profound difference through animal therapy. She loved running along the beach, exploring the wonders of nature, and being surrounded by our family and other animals.

Matilda is the heart and soul behind my mission to support others grieving the loss of their pets. Her unconditional love and the joy she brought to everyone she met continue to inspire me to help others honour the bonds they share with their beloved companions.

When Matilda passed on 14th March 2020, her absence left a void in my life that can never be filled. But her memory, her love, and the light she brought to my world live on, inspiring me every day.
